Create a Loot

Creating a Loot takes only a few minutes. Behind the scenes, the factory deploys a dedicated minimal-proxy pool for your campaign and records you as the on-chain creator.

Make sure you have signed in and connected a wallet. Deploying and funding a pool requires network gas, so the wallet you use needs the chain’s gas token.

Choose exactly one asset type. A Loot never mixes them:

  • Native token — the chain’s gas token.
  • ERC-20 — a stablecoin, governance token, or your project token.
  • ERC-721 — specific NFTs, by token ID.
  • Random — luck-based amounts.
  • Equal — everyone gets the same share.
  • Custom — you pre-assign exact amounts or token IDs.

See play styles for how each splits the pool.

SettingNotes
WindowStart and end time. Turn on Endless loot (end time 0) if you do not want a fixed expiry — seats filled or balance empty still ends it.
SeatsHow many wallets can claim (maxClaimers). Must be greater than zero. Required before you can enable gas-free claims.
Open contributionWhether other people can add funds during the Pending window.
GatesParticipation requirements — see Gates. The baseline is one wallet, one claim.
Gas-free claimsOptional. Sponsor claim gas for participants with a native-coin deposit priced per seat.

Turn on Gas-free claims so Web2 participants can claim without holding the chain’s gas token. You pay a deposit in the chain’s native coin (BNB or ETH). The number of relay seats equals how many claimers that deposit covers; you can add seats later from the Loot page.

How it works for you:

  1. Create the Loot as usual (gas-free does not block creation if the deposit step fails — you can retry).
  2. Send the deposit transaction; Gatoll records seats from the on-chain payment.
  3. Participants on a gas-free Loot claim through the platform relayer by default.
  4. If relay seats run out or relay is unavailable, claimers fall back to paying their own gas.

Unused deposit capacity stays with the platform as the cost of sponsoring conversion — participants always receive their full reward share.

Add a title, description, and cover image. Images are uploaded first, then attached to the Loot after the pool is confirmed, tying the campaign page back to the on-chain pool.

Confirm the deployment transaction, then fund the pool while the Loot is Pending (see funding & contributions). Once it has funds and the start time has passed, the Loot becomes Active and participants can claim.

A Loot is a single shareable link. Post it wherever your audience already is; participants open the link, pass the Gates, and claim.
